Love unconditional

I go through my life wondering,
will love be what i find
at the end of my long journey
or will i be left behind.

And then i meet a woman
unlike the ones before
my heart pounds in my chest,
i've never felt a love
within my life before

She loves me like no other
and when i am away
she's all i think about
each and every day

if ever in my life
if she were to leave
my life would become empty
and i would miss a part of me

because though she does not know it
she owns my heart forever
and living without her
would not be living at all
