Since the year 1941 the painting has been part of a permanent collection at the Museum of Modern Art in New York City. It was told that Van Gogh claimed to have a "terrible need for religion" when he painted Starry Night Over the Rhone. La persistencia de la memoria. It was created in 1931 and is only the begining of one of his "weird" art. Not many people has heard of him and if they have they just think his work is to strange.
